We had an incredible time sipping wine with you for our Hurricane Helene relief fundraiser at La Terrazza on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024—and are thrilled to share that we raised $1,127 for Wine to Water! Even more exciting, the global nonprofit that helps communities in need access clean water has officially met its $500,000 match challenge.
WTW has been providing relief for those affected by the hurricane since day one. As roads were swept away and homes were flooded in the mountains of Western North Carolina, thousands of families were left with no electricity, no running water, and no way to communicate. To help those in Boone and Asheville, they set up supply hubs for water, food, baby products, hygiene items, and emergency relief supplies, and have been able to distribute 1.2 million pounds of supplies, 294,565 gallons of water, 3,088 filters, 7,500 water bags, and 5,850 hygiene kits.

In the aftermath of the devastating hurricane, we immediately saw a need and were fortunate to be able to help out the nonprofit, hosting our event at La Terrazza in which proceeds from select red and white wines were donated to WTW to support disaster relief efforts in WNC. We are so grateful to everyone who came by to sip for a great cause.
